On October 9th, the European Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (ECCKSA) hosted its Energy Roundtable, gathering key leaders from European, international, and Saudi energy sectors. Attendees included representatives from the European Union Delegation, European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER), and prominent companies from both the EU and Saudi Arabia’s energy landscape. With a focused agenda on hydrogen and clean energy, the event aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 energy transition objectives. We are pleased to announce that the summary report is now available for download, offering a comprehensive overview of the discussions, insights, and key takeaways.
The roundtable underscored hydrogen’s potential as a pivotal element in Saudi Arabia’s energy strategy and highlighted the significance of collaborative partnerships between public and private sectors to foster clean energy advancements. Among the outcomes was the proposal to establish a dedicated ECCKSA Energy Committee, aimed at driving ongoing dialogue and leveraging European expertise to support Vision 2030’s clean energy ambitions.
