On Sunday, 13 September, ECCKSA was delighted to welcome H.E. Luigi Di Maio, EU Special Representative for the Gulf Region, alongside H.E. Christophe Farnaud, Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The visit began with a meeting with the ECCKSA Board of Directors, followed by a reception and exchange with ECCKSA Members.

As relations between the European Union, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Saudi Arabia continue to deepen, such engagements provide ECCKSA members with a valuable opportunity to connect directly with senior EU Commission representatives, gain insight into the EU’s priorities and ongoing work at the political level, and exchange perspectives on the evolving EU-Saudi relationship.

ECCKSA remains committed to strengthening EU-Saudi economic ties and fostering meaningful dialogue between the European business community in the Kingdom and European institutional stakeholders.
