Two years ago, the European Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (ECCKSA) was founded on a vision: to give European businesses a unified voice in one of the world’s most dynamic economies.

That vision became reality thanks to the founding Board of Directors 2024-2026, whose work laid the institutional foundations ECCKSA now stands on. A particular word of thanks goes to our Chairman, Lorcan Tyrrell, whose leadership shaped the Chamber from its very first days.

None of this would have been possible without the steadfast support of the EU Delegation to Saudi Arabia, and in particular EU Ambassador H.E. Christophe Farnaud, and the trade section led by Timo Hammarén, and previously Thomas Juergensen whose commitment to ECCKSA’s mission, day in and day out, has been instrumental in building the Chamber we are today.

On Wednesday 20 May, at our Annual General Meeting, our members came together to elect the new Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 mandate.
